  8. years in which you test your ideas and you find 
  9. out which ideas are meaningless and which of them 
  10. are valid. You sort the good ones from the bad 
  11. ones, and try and build a synthesis out of a career 
  12. of thinking. He didn‚Äôt write that book, so there‚Äôs 
  13. nowhere that his admirers can tell people to go 
  14. and say read that‚Äîthat‚Äôs what Marshall‚Äôs got to
